Better $$$ and working conditions for meat workers

Keep your heads up guys and stay strong you all work hard and deserve decent wages and conditions at work and to also not be discriminated against for being union members!! Awesome job in sticking together through a very rough time, youre children will thank you for it when they enter the work force :)

Com on man ..stop being blisters greedy..the worker’s work hard.. some of them probley work over time and they don’t spend enough time with there kid’s /family..give them a break man..it’s hard enough to try and stay afloat.. time’s are getting harder.. don’t make it worse.. for the worker’s they just want to live a life for there families..

I’m a union mber at the Rangiuru plant, I think its dis-heartning to think Talleys want to take away our rights as honest loyal workers! I try to Beleive if we stay strong stick together we could be ok! However our union hasn’t really shown us much in respect of progress being made or that has happened, as part of the lockout and being wrongfully laid off at times, we are still in waiting for the apparent back pay we were entitled to at that time, many promises made by union with no result. Union need us to Beleive more, and to stay beleiveing, otherwise I fear we could lose this battle, I am not alone in these thoughts.

Meat workers who work for Talley’s deserve to have a collective employment agreement with good wages and conditions. Other employers in the industry can do it – so can do it – so can Tally’s!

We need to fight for our people – What good will it do making the rich richer. Good luck everyone. You all deserve what you have asked for plus plenty more.
